AON Associate Account Executive in London, Ontario

Associate Account Executive

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our client sales and service business group within Aon Risk Solutions. This role has the flexibility to be performed from our London, Ontario office in a hybrid working model.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

What the day will look like

  • Under the direction of the Account Executive, servicing existing clients' portfolios.

  • Coordinating the client renewal process by collaborating with all members of the client service team to ensure coverage is secured and client deliverables are met;

  • Assisting the Account Executive in securing updates from clients in the renewal process.

  • Receiving and processing client requests and reviewing documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, or cancellations.

  • Preparing client service summaries, program reports and managing client accounts receivables.

  • Assist with establishing account specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions.

  • Respond to inquiries from client on policy coverages under the direction of the Account Executive as may be required.

  • Assist clients with interpretation of insurance clauses within contracts/agreements.

  • Explore with the client opportunities for expanded Aon products or services.

  • Serving as the internal contact point on all aspects of account activity. Collaborating closely with clients to receive and provide relevant information, with occasional direct Client facing at the direction of the Account Executive;

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum of two (2) years of commercial insurance experience is preferred;

  • RIBO licence required;

  • CIP and/or CAIB is preferable or working towards.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task;

  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written;

  • Ability to learn and to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;

  • Ability to work with diverse and remote teams;

  • Team oriented self-starter with ability to coordinate, prioritize, monitor and control workflow deadlines and be flexible

  • Strong computer skills and be proficient with the Microsoft Office package.
