About the Role:

As a General Clerk 1 dedicated to supporting our client's document digitization process, you will be an essential part of our team responsible for ensuring the smooth transition from physical to digital documents. Your role will involve preparing, scanning, and organizing documents with precision and efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our client's digitization initiative.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documents for digitization by sorting, organizing, and arranging them according to established guidelines and specifications.
  • Operate scanning equipment to create high-quality digital copies of documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintain strict attention to detail while scanning documents to ensure that all pages are captured accurately and in the correct sequence.
  • Assist with the classification and indexing of digital documents based on specified criteria, facilitating easy retrieval and access.
  • Monitor document workflows to ensure timely processing and completion of digitization tasks, escalating any issues or discrepancies as needed.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols to protect sensitive information contained within the documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to coordinate workflows and meet project deadlines.
  • Follow all client-specific procedures and guidelines related to document handling and digitization processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to optimize productivity and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Prior experience in document handling, scanning, or data entry preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with scanning equipment and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document processing and data entry tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to security protocols.
  • Physical ability to lift and move boxes of documents as needed.
