Description

Do you want to contribute to making Amazon the preferred retailer for content creators to collaborate with in Europe? You want to inspire Amazon customers and help them discover our wide range of products and services ?

Come and join the Marketing team within the EU Creators organization, which owns Amazon Affiliation programs in Europe.

As the Content & Strategic Senior Marketing Manager, your role will involve defining the positioning of Amazon's affiliation programs for Creators, informed by industry and creator insights (voice of the customer). You will also lead the execution of the content marketing strategy aimed at informing and educating creators to enhance engagement and productivity. You will manage an Outbound Operations Marketing Manager in charge of channel operationalisation, content localisation and outbound communications and you will collaborate closely with our Industry Events Marketing Manager, as well as with the overall marketing, program, and business development teams.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define the strategic positioning of our programs beyond the sales pitch, ensuring clarity and differentiation in the market.

  • Develop a comprehensive content and communication strategy, incorporating team management aspects for one direct reports, to effectively convey our message and objectives to our target audience across the yearly activations.

  • Ensure the delivery of EU relevant content for various communication channels including:

  • Develop content for new semi-automated series to engage creators and drive program growth.

  • Create EU-specific content for Creator University to provide tailored support and resources to our creator community.

  • Craft briefs for YouTube new content and paid acquisition creatives & messaging to effectively communicate program benefits and opportunities.

  • Own voice of the customer, gathering insights and feedback from creators to inform marketing strategies and campaign optimization.

  • Provide industry insights and trends analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive program innovation.

About the team

The Amazon affiliation programs (Amazon Associates and Amazon Influencer programs) are one of our key marketing channels to recruit new customers, facilitate product, programs and services discovery of existing customers and to increase customer loyalty. The Amazon Associates/Influencers programs are among the best known and respected affiliation programs in the world and allow content creators (ranging from large media groups to nano influencers) to monetize their content, audiences by driving traffic to the Amazon online stores.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional content marketing experience

  • A track record of market evangelization, customer education on new or complex products.

  • Proficiency in social media marketing, email marketing.

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating cross-functional projects and campaigns.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to measure impact and drive optimization.

  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and/or Tableau.

  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in marketing, business, communication, or related field.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
