Reinsurance EMEA Strategy & Execution Associate

A central member of the Reinsurance Strategy & Execution team, the Strategy & Execution Associate will primarily support the EMEA Client Solutions Leadership team as on a range of transformational and growth orientated projects across the solution line and ensure the successful execution of change to drive and support our growth strategy across the region.

Growth and change initiatives can include business strategies, processes, technologies, organisational structure, and systems based on internal business needs, client needs, and market dynamics.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office. The successful candidate must be able to coordinate and control activities across multiple countries.

What the day will look like

  • Develop and lead clear project plans which enable the successful delivery of strategic projects.

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of several projects, starting from business case analysis and creation to transition to business-as-usual in local offices.

  • Build a cohesive and effective partnership with business leaders to ensure milestones are delivered on-time.

  • Using your understanding of the business and our goals, support the regional leaders in identifying relevant project risks and develop appropriate risk mitigations to handle those risks.

  • Support change management efforts by creating training and engagement material and involvement in its execution.

  • Develop regional roadmaps and work with the EMEA Client Solutions Leadership Team to track all strategic initiatives across the region and ensure priorities are consistently deployed and measured within country.

  • Produce regular project status reporting and update packs on key initiatives, targeted at C-Suite stakeholders.

  • Responsible for facilitating leadership meetings on a regular basis with C-Suite stakeholders, covering topics such as updates on key initiatives, operational performance against growth targets etc.

  • Collection, analysis and reporting of data and existing processes to help identify areas of opportunity for change to better serve our stakeholders and deliver on our growth strategy.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • University degree education or relevant professional qualifications and experience. (or equivalent)

  • Experience in a global Project Management role, ideally in the Re/insurance industry

  • Previous experience of successful delivery on business transformational and growth initiatives

  • Multilingual skills are preferred (English and/or French, Spanish, and Italian)

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presenting) and experience working with C-Suite stakeholders.

  • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from Executive sponsors, team members, stakeholders, and peers.
