Bloomberg's Evaluated Pricing (BVAL) business is a market leader in fixed income pricing and the pricing provider to the Bloomberg Indices. BVAL prices over 2.5 million bonds, multiple times daily for clients across buy side, sell side and custodial clients. We are known for:

BVAL is seeking a strategic and creative Product Manager to help grow and enhance our Real-Time Front Office Pricing product (IBVAL) for the fixed income market. As a product manager, you will be responsible for developing GTM strategies, working with sales and marketing to grow revenue and client adoption across the front office. You will also be responsible for managing the backlog and working closely with engineering teams to deliver solutions that extend our market leading position in flexible distribution. Key non-functional requirements for these components include reliability, scalability, high performance, and ease of use.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Partner with sales teams to identify appropriate sales strategies and market opportunities

  • Manage development prioritization, and backlog by continually addressing business needs through an agile process

  • Partner with engineers and quantitative analysts to build and evolve models

  • Discuss the value of the Real-Time offering, models, and analytics with clients

  • Utilize knowledge of the fixed income market and client needs to identify new product opportunities for analytics and new pricing products

  • Identify and track strategic goals, outcomes, and key success metrics to measure impact.

  • Develop clear communication materials and ensure stakeholders across the organization are aligned on the product vision, goals, and roadmap.

You’ll need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience in fixed income markets as a Specialist, Trader, Portfolio Manager, Product Manager in Fixed income, or similar roles*

  • Proven knowledge of bond structures, market drivers, fixed income analytics and pricing methods

  • Ability to communicate effectively and display ability to explain technical and complex issues to various audiences

  • Experience in project management, strong organizational skills, and an ability to map dependencies.

  • Demonstrated Microsoft Excel and Python skills

  • Ability to create strategic goals, prioritize outcomes, and develop roadmaps

We’d love to see:

  • Experience in Agile or Kanban environments

  • Exposure to various front office products, vendor solutions in the EMS or analytics space

  • Experience with digital distribution technologies
