Amazon Freight (Amazon's newly launched external facing Freight service) is hiring a Senior Product Manager to define the product strategy for newest business, Less-than-Truckload. Join us in building the next big thing for Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of the industry, customer and operator experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience, operator productivity and drive growth

  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

  • Develop product positioning strategies

  • Translate findings into detailed requirements, prototypes or program initatives

  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

  • Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders (tech, product teams, finance, marketing, analytics, etc.) tech teams to deliver initiatives and features

  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

  • Gather customer feedback on product and features to drive continuous improvement

  • Develop metrics and KPIs to track impact

A day in the life

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for gathering customer requirements, define the strategy for the product, planning, implementing, and driving initiatives that improve our product offering. You’ll work with colleagues to understand their areas, learn and expand your knowledge, as well as sharing your own expertise. Together, you’ll identify exciting new opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing their implementation.

You’ll encourage and support your colleagues and stakeholders to meet important deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could do things better. Your work will be integral to your team’s success.

About the team

Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with end to end product delivery

Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Master degree
