The company produces a full line of grocery, industrial, food service and specialty sweetener products. Across North America, ASR Group owns and operates six sugar refineries, located in Louisiana, New York, California, Maryland, Canada and Mexico. In the European Union, the company owns and operates sugar refineries in England, Portugal. ASR Group also owns and operates mills in Mexico and Belize. The company’s brand portfolio includes the leading brands Domino®, C&H®, Redpath®, Tate & Lyle®, Lyle’s® and Sidul®.

Packing Operator Here at Tate & Lyle Sugars we have 14 packaging lines, approximately 24,000 tonnes throughput per annum of high value sugar base products, 30 million units of syrup products and 4000 tonnes of small packet dry sugar and sweetener products per year will be distributed to our customers in the UK and Worldwide.

You will be responsible for processing and packing of Tate & Lyle Sugars and customer branded products on a day shift basis.

Location: Plaistow Wharf (East London).

This is a busy, fast paced role and we are looking for candidates to bring relevant experience of packing and production/manufacturing environments. Good knowledge of packing and process operations, basic mechanical skills and problem solving is a must.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills further in this role, we are looking for candidates who are self-motivated with a desire for personal development and process development.

Training – We will support you by providing the tools to identify and pursue your own personal development plan, having dedicated time to discuss performance, development, and career progression. Full training will be provided whether that’s learning on the job, community volunteering experiences, mentoring, secondments or formal learning like apprenticeship and leadership programmes.
