Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6 years of experience within one or more of the following fields: management consulting, investment banking, business operations, business development/partnerships, or corporate strategy at a technology/media company.

  • Experience with projects, cross-functional stakeholder management, and project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.

  • Ability to work autonomously and keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.

  • Ability to be highly collaborative, take initiatives, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

  • Distinctive problem solving and aptitude skills (e.g., spreadsheets/modeling, SQL) with business judgment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including deck-building skills; ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels, including cross functional peers and leadership.

  • Interest in business development and strategic partnerships.

The YouTube Product Partnerships team drives partner strategy and manages the key relationships that help to make YouTube’s products more universally accessible and useful. We own the business side of new products and initiatives, and our strategic partnerships seek to build, distribute, grow, and protect YouTube’s products globally. We know how to assess partnership opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely within our team, and with Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.

As a Partnerships Strategy and Operations Manager, you will focus on the YouTube Product Partnerships business in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). You will work closely with the leadership team to help the business grow and operate effectively, ensuring our teams are executing against YouTube’s most critical priorities in close alignment with regional and global cross-functional stakeholders. This includes driving deliverables for critical internal alignment and approval forums on strategic issues, preparing key leaders for internal and external commitments (e.g., quarterly business reviews, partner meetings, conferences), and supporting annual strategic planning and OKR processes.

  • Own internal and external executive-level presentations, including quarterly business reviews, product reviews, and partner strategy/agreement approval forums. Bring a strong sense of narrative and slide design to ensure materials are polished and effective for discussions and driving decision-making.

  • Drive the annual planning and regional OKR processes in close collaboration with cross-functional leadership.

  • Lead critical strategic and operational projects based on emergent business needs. Participate in early discussions on behalf of the business to scope new projects.

  • Proactively identify problems and issues across the organization, create programs and processes to solve them, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership to realize them.

  • Partner closely with other functions, including Product and Engineering, Communications, PR, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Operations. Understand issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence the business.
