Baskin Robbins International Manufacturing Operations Manager, Dunkin' - EMEAI in London, United Kingdom

Regionally based role with primary purpose to support and enable the effective development of bakery supply solutions for all brands with a focus on assuring effective Dunkin’ franchised donut manufacturing in assigned International Markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Dunkin’ manufacturing standards communication, coaching, and compliance performance management:

  • Communicate donut manufacturing standards and processes, operational procedures, brand standards and training materials.

  • Maintain systems and processes for capturing and monitoring key production food safety, quality, productivity, and cost KPIs.

  • Conduct operations and food safety assessments.

  • Communicate performance and key improvement to internal stakeholders and Franchisees.

  • Support donut category product innovation in conjunction with field marketing teams.

  • Prioritize and align focused improvements with Franchisees and field teams.​

Local Bakery Supply Chain Development

  • Local supplier capability assessment

  • Proprietary bread carrier manufacturing capability development

  • Local Bakery supplier product development and production approval.

  • Supporting regional supply chain, QA, Commercialization and Licensees with bakery manufacturing trouble shooting and solutioning.

Regional New Dunkin’ manufacturing location implementation:

  • Develop and align new location implementation project plans with Franchisees.

  • Consult with Franchisees on site layout, equipment, and construction in line with Brand standards and requirements.

  • Monitor and communicate new location project implementation progress with field teams, supply chain, QA and development teams.

  • Train new CML operatives to brand standards and requirements.

  • Support new location start-up.

  • Qualify new location in conjunction with supply chain QA.

Regional Dunkin Ingredient and equipment optimization and approval:

  • New supplier/equipment discovery and capability assessment

  • Supplier capability development,

  • Supplier qualification

  • Product/equipment approval

  • Supply troubleshooting and solutioning

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Certification as Master/Certified Baker Recognized Bakery Accreditation Body (ME. UK of EU)

  • Preferred Degree in Bakery/Food Science, Food Business or Food Engineering.

  • Preferred 3-5 + years bakery manufacturing or bakery management in Middle East and/or Europe.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of applied bakery science and technology.

  • Knowledge of bakery product innovation and bakery decoration.

  • Knowledge of small to large scale bakery manufacturing methodologies and processes.

  • Knowledge of principles and experience with manufacturing cost accounting.

  • Knowledge of bakery best practice and application of continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Bakery quality and defect troubleshooting.

  • Requires capable and persuasive communications skills to drive change through influence and consultation.

  • Manufacturing process and cost analytics.

  • Manufacturing best practice and continuous improvement.
