Required Skills:

Graphics Software Engineer - Mixed Reality SDKs Responsibilities:

  1. Bring Meta's immersive MR capabilities to developers through robust and intuitive SDKs for Unity, Unreal Engine and other platforms.

  2. Influence Meta's Mixed Reality roadmap to help create a thriving ecosystem of realtime 3D spatial applications and games.

  3. Work with other engineers, product managers, designers, artists, and user researchers to ensure we build performant, robust and easy to use MR capabilities.

  4. Set direction in how Reality Labs develop future Mixed Reality technologies that make virtual content feel like a part of the physical world.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience in any of the following: developing 3D pipelines (processing models, scenes, textures, materials or animation), developing software within the game development, Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality or experience building interactive realtime 3D products.

  2. Experience in any of the following: computer graphics, rendering, physics-based simulation, 3D character animation, advanced optimization techniques, or games middleware/tooling

  3. Experience building and shipping commercial 3D software in C/C++, C# or similar language.

  4. Experience with either proprietary or commercial 3D engines (Unity, Unreal, etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in VR / MR / AR development, 3D file formats (such as FBX, gITF, COLLADA/DAE, OBJ) or animation of human avatars in a tracked or live performance context..

  2. Experience with API or tooling design and implementation for realtime 3D applications.

  3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
