Within the GCS Marketing organization, the Global Experiential Marketing team leads all aspects of B2B in-person and virtual experiences covering tradeshows/conferences, custom proprietary experiences, client entertainment, virtual forums, go-to-market initiatives and more; all designed to deepen relationships with customers and prospects across the globe.

Reporting to the VP, Global Experiential Marketing, the Director, International Experiential Marketing will be responsible for driving the B2B global event strategy, while leading a team of 3 experiential colleagues that deliver events across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the international experiential strategy, design & execution work across multiple teams & markets to bring the global strategy to life, regionally. Events to range from, but not limited to in-person conferences & tradeshows, proprietary customer events, ticketing, sponsorship activations, client roadshows & gifting programs.

  • Own and cultivate senior leader and partner relationships, and ensure business objectives are being met.

  • Establish measurement plans, and be responsible for reporting/tracking, gathering insights and evaluating initiatives and apply findings to future programs/recommendations.

  • Drive investment efficiencies through clear, measurable criteria and analytic rigor.

  • Own vendor & agency relationships and provide creative direction in the design and delivery of impactful experiences.

  • Build strong working relationships across the team, as well as with business partner groups to ensure good collaboration, efficient problem solving and creative solutioning for delivering on results. Cross-functional teams could include marketing, sales, PR, product, compliance, and executive Offices.

  • As a people leader; coach and support colleagues while helping with career development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Significant years of marketing experience

  • Strong professional presence and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate, influence, and be a standout colleague

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise judgment and prioritization

  • Highly motivated with ability to react and adapt in real time to balance multiple priorities while remaining flexible and calm

  • Ability to operate in white space and deliver innovative thinking

  • Proven track record of getting results while working autonomously

  • Exceptional project management skills and great attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in events and experiential is advantageous

  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred
