Diageo Digital & Technology Business Analyst - Revenue Growth Management in London, United Kingdom

Job Description :

Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) who will play a crucial role in the implementation of a new Revenue Growth Management (RGM) solution at Diageo.

This role requires a deep understanding of RGM technology and data, business analysis, and excellent communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively is key to ensuring successful delivery of the RGM solution, working with Digital & Technology teams (Customer Value Stream, Enterprise Architecture, Data, Analytics & Insight), and the Sales organization (Global and Local). The Business Analyst will become a main point of contact and trusted D&T representative for the market RGM leads.

Strong experience in Revenue Growth Management is required for this role.

Key Accountabilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Lead the process of gathering market requirements for the RGM solution.

  • Ensure all stakeholders' needs are captured, analyzed, and validated.

Solution Design and Validation:

  • Collaborate with D&T teams and the vendor to translate business requirements into technical specifications that feed into a prioritized solution roadmap

  • Validate solution designs to ensure they meet business needs.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as a main point of contact for markets, feeding requirements back to the global RGM D&T team.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment and buy-in.

Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the RGM solution meets defined requirements.

  • Work with the vendor and market RGM leads to identify and resolve defects/issues to maintain the quality of the solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Documentation:

  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather requirements.

  • Document business requirements, user stories, and use cases in a clear and detailed manner. Feed into backlog and overall Product Roadmap

Analysis:

  • Analyze existing business processes and data flows to identify areas for improvement.

  • Market and requirements analysis

Solution Development Support:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end solution, (technology, data, process) and be able to demonstrate to stakeholders; become the internal POC for the solution (supported by the vendor)

  • Provide clarifications and support to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.

Change Management:

  • Partner with the vendor and the internal change management lead to help develop training materials and user documentation.

  • Support end-users during the transition to the new RGM solution, including training sessions and troubleshooting.

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years' experience in RGM is a must have for this role, ideally having been involved in RGM solution implementation previously

  • Agile experience desired including previous use of JIRA, Azure Dev Ops

  • Preferred knowledge of RGM data across Pricing, Promo, Assortment and Trade Investment

  • Experience with tools such as Visio, Lucid Chart, Power BI, Google Data Studio, other visualization tools

  • At least 5 years of experience in a solution focused team (Project/Product)

  • Consistent track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first approach

  • Superb communication and key partner management skills

  • Ability to partner with and influence global functions, markets, and external partners to deliver on our commitments

  • Experience working with Global CPG customers

  • Strong knowledge of data integrations and inter-connectivity between systems

  • Ability to understand technical designs

  • Must have a strong business/operational process experience with a flair for process improvement and ongoing process changes
