In this job, you’ll be accountable for delivery of base analysis across the Plusnet area of Consumer, using data from a wide range of sources. Your output supports decision making for our key stakeholders through quality and actionable analytics to deliver a holistic customer view.

What you’ll be doing

  • Works closely with other Plusnet marketing teams, including product marketing, communications and trading and can manage, report on marketing campaign effectiveness

  • Develop self-serve analytics that underpin the Plusnet roadmap, enabling business stakeholders to make data driven decisions

  • Deliver analytics outputs in response to regulatory requests

  • Support evaluation and development of performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Use strong SQL skills to deliver the above analytics, compiling data from across the Plusnet data infrastructure

  • Proactively look for new ways to interpret data and apply statistical techniques for evaluating campaign performance

  • Display a good understanding of the business and considers E2E impacts in analysis and recommendations

  • Able to provide clear, concise explanations of how analytics have been developed; including the techniques and assumptions applied in transforming different data sources

  • Experience with stakeholder management’

  • Presentation of results and analytics

  • Ensure that a clear brief/understanding of the business question is gathered for analytics requests

  • Respond to ad hoc requests for information and data, challenging what is required where appropriate

The skills and experience you will have under your belt

  • Relevant Degree and/ or equivalent experience

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and extrapolate trends

  • Experience of data extraction, manipulation and analytics software, specifically SQL

  • Analyze and measurement support for A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicate results and provide recommendations.

  • Experience working with data visualisation tools (Preferably Qlik Sense)

  • Ability to work under pressure and seek priority calls when needed

  • Broad knowledge of the advertising industry (ATL and BTL) and associated data, metrics and terminology

  • Able to present technical information and actions to be taken as a result of analytics

  • Effective communicator with a strong problem solving capability and “can-do” attitude

  • Strong work ethic with particular emphasis on accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness

  • Collaborative attitude and an ability to share expertise with colleagues across the business
