Amazon Shipping offers Amazon’s delivery capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the EU, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network.

Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced Senior Manager in the Shipper Management Team to own monitoring, streamlining and improvement of our claims processes as well as other aspects related to revenue leakage. You will be a natural self-starter, with strong analytical skills who is able to translate the long term vision for Amazon Shipping into a strategic and tactical action plans for SWA and multiple middle and last mile EU Ops teams. This will require a true hands-on approach, strong deep diving skills, solid stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills.

You will help design and shape processes, practices, engaging and influencing multiple Ops stakeholders to build a shipping service provider which our customers love.

You will have a true hands-on approach, understanding of operations, solid leadership skills and the ability to build and leverage relationships across a wide range of stakeholders As this position involves regular interaction with senior leadership, you need to be comfortable communicating robustly at that level whilst also working directly with various functional teams and team members at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business.

Key job responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advocate and influencer, collaborating closely with shippers, cross-functional partner teams and key stakeholders.

  • Improve critical operational metrics by designing and implementing new processes and partnerships with the Business, Product, and Operations teams.

  • Develop structural plans and routines to ensure all strategic and tactical initiatives are delivered on schedule and to the expected standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. logistics, supply chain management, operations, business, etc.)

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills to define requirements and identify areas for improvement.

  • Relevant experience in the shipping/logistics industry, particularly with shipping service providers or global freight forwarding

  • Proven ability to drive team engagement, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination

  • Experience establishing repeatable processes and driving automation/standardization initiatives

  • Effective communication skills to present findings and results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL knowledge

  • Relevant experience owning end-to-end program strategy and delivery

  • Comfort and experience interacting with and presenting to C-suite and senior executives

  • Six Sigma certification or equivalent structured problem-solving training

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and implementing high-impact programs and projects
