Warehouse Maintenance Technician

The Warehouse Maintenance Technician will perform various daily duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager to ensure proper warehouse cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld. The Warehouse Maintenance Technician, while working safely, will be responsible for all functions as it pertains to warehouse maintenance, including but not limited to, operating an industrial scrubber, power washing, sanitation, general housekeeping duties, and minor equipment repairs.

How You Will Fit In

  • Use all safety related PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and harnesses or seatbelts while driving equipment

  • Responsible for verifying daily safety checks of equipment

  • Operate powered industry vehicles (Forklifts, Man-up Order Selectors and Floor Scrubbers) in a safe manner

  • Assist with periodic inventory counts

  • Assists in retread center activities as assigned

  • Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment in compliance with OSHA and company directives, using safety first practices to remain accident-free

  • Perform routine facilities maintenance, housekeeping, and sanitization tasks

  • Ensure facility and company assets are properly secured and maintained to ensure operational readiness

  • Maintain personal grooming and company uniform standards

  • Maintain company attendance standards

  • Execute company policies, procedures and programs in a professional, effective and timely manner

  • Model the Love’s core values of Focus on the Customer, Integrity, Strong Work Ethic, Innovative Thinking and Perseverance

  • Other duties as necessary

Typical Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.

  • Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
