Lockport. Castellum Management. Sales and Leasing Agent. $18 - $22/hour.

We are looking for a capable Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective lessors. The goal is scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones and achieve high occupancy rates. The successful candidate should have proven customer service abilities, an upbeat and outgoing personality, and come to work every day with a positive attitude.

We will cross-train you to assist all prospects and residents in every possible way. We train our team in Customer Service, Sales and Administrative Tasks to ensure that our clients are comfortable and confident with our entire team.

Work is performed in a general office environment and apartment community. Successful applicants will be required to have reliable transportation, as travel between sites to show apartments is necessary. General hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. with some work done off-site/remotely

Responsibilities * Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants * Act as a landlord for property owners and help them navigate the property market * Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials * Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospect customers * Confirm rental application data and personal references * Stay knowledgeable of the property market status * Provide information on all aspects of properties (expansion, zoning, crime etc) * Explain policies and rules to residents * Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals * Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically * Assist residents with completing leasing applications and renewals by phone, email, and in person. * Assist residents with submitting work orders and maintenance requests

Skills * Sales, Leasing, Customer Service, or Hospitality Industry experience is a plus but not required * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and internet research * Motivated to meet/exceed leasing goals * Persuasive with marketing and sales skills * Customer service orientation * Enthusiastic, persistent, reliable, personable, and outgoing
