AssistRx Marketing Specialist, Internal Communications in Lockhart, Florida

Under the direction of the manager of marketing communications, this role provides internal marketing and communications support for AssistRx. The position objective is to provide a consistent and professional look for all internal communications while assisting key leadership with business-critical communication documentation.

  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, emails, staff presentation decks, newsletters and videos

  • Assist with the management and frequent updating of company and product information, post timely industry news and company updates, promote go-to-market initiatives, events, webinars and conferences

  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders

  • Support the delivery of the organizational rewards and recognition program

  • Provide support for internal events, including town halls and departmental summits, as well as client/ partner/ prospect meetings, by coordinating cross-functional teams

  • Support digital marketing initiatives, including internal email campaigns, surveys, social media campaigns, and website updates

  • Prepare presentations by evaluating text, graphics and brand representation

  • Develop, edit and proofread all internal copy in alignment with AP Style, corporate style guide and brand positioning and messaging

  • Meet deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for marketing communication information gathering, creation, review and approval; coordinating requirements with contributors; providing status updates for review in meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, event planning, journalism or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a communications role

  • Healthcare, technology or specialty pharmaceutical experience preferred

  • Public relations, marketing or advertising agency experience preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially AP Style

  • Deadline-driven and able to balance competing priories while working independently or in a team environment

  • Must be results driven with ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter with initiative and a sense of accountability and ownership

  • Graphic design and layout skills a plus

  • Experience working with WordPress, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Survey Monkey or other survey platform and Hootsuite/Sprout or other social management platform, and Rewards & Recognition platform a plus
