Are you an experienced RN Director of Emergency Room looking for an interim assignment? Join Trinity Health 's FirstChoice Mobile Resource Pool as an Interim Leader. FirstChoice Leaders fill interim leadership assignments across our nationwide healthcare system.

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors, the FirstChoice Emergency Room Nurse Executive works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide administrative support and direction to directors/managers within Emergency Room Services/assigned area(s) of responsibility over agreed upon assignment (interim) period.

Provides clinical and administrative leadership for planning, organizing, directing, monitoring, and evaluating safe high-quality patient care/services as directed by the ministry/site executive team. Reports to the ministry/site senior executive, based upon assigned interim duties; and to the FirstChoice executive leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Current Registered Nursing licensure to practice in multiple states.

  • Masters level degree or higher required

  • Minimum of five (5) years executive/director level leadership experience in an acute care setting.

  • In depth knowledge of system thinking, change leadership, shared governance, matrix reporting, continuous improvement, process excellence, and financial and productivity management

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all members of the administrative and health care team

  • The ability to synthesize and interpret large amounts of clinical, quality, and financial data

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Demonstrated ability to model the use of evidence-based leadership/practice, and project management skills.

  • Displays excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide advice, counsel and leadership to staff, physicians, patients and the community

Pay rate is $4550.00 Gross Weekly. This rate includes a tax free stipend.
