G-TECH Services, Inc. General Laborer in Livonia, Michigan

The General Laborer position is a supporting role to the rest of the organization whereby an unskilled person can have an entry into the company and can develop their career after first demonstrating their ability to work deliver good work with excellent attendance and attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

The below are daily activities to expect for this position. You must be able to perform each duty responsibly and safely. Additional or different requirements may exist in this role.

  • Execute all work in a safe manner and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority

  • Sweeping and cleaning of the facility

  • Assisting with packaging machined castings in the Shipping & Receiving department

  • Assisting with unloading and cleaning large 3D sand printing machines

  • Moving high value castings from one operation to the next

  • Assisting machinists and other operators with complex set-ups where two people are required.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Ability to follow instructions methodically with attention to detail

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Must be willing to work flexible shift hours and day, afternoon, or night shifts as well as overtime hours daily, weekend and holidays on those shifts with little notice

Preferred Qualifications:

· Ability to work some Saturdays
