An Opportunity to Join our Remarkable Care Team as an Exercise Specialist in the Noninvasive Cardiology Department awaits YOU!!!!

POSITION PURPOSE

Independently performs a variety of stress testing modalities. Ensures the correct and most appropriate procedure for the patient is performed relative to the patient's known or suspected condition and according to the patient's clinical signs/symptoms, medical history. Works independently and collaboratively to obtain diagnostic information that will positively influence the patient's medical outcome. Assumes responsibility for the welfare and satisfaction of the patient for the duration of their visit. Actively communicates with others to ensure continuity of care. Provides Phase I cardiac rehab service to inpatients. Participates in the orientation, inservice and training of other team members and students. Provide leadership and guidance to technical personnel in the stress lab and participates in improving and developing cardiovascular stress lab and rehab programs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

*Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field required.

*Minimum of six (6) months clinical experience required.

*ACSM eligible; (completion of certification within one year of hire)

*BLS and ACLS required.
