Trane Technologies, the global leader in innovative climate solutions for a sustainable world, is seeking a Regional Equipment Solutions Manager. In this role, you are responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of the equipment fulfillment processes in its goal of operational excellence, support of overall strategic objectives, and accountable for overall project financial results.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership

  • Create and execute on a vision and strategy for our equipment solutions business.

  • Lead performance excellence by coaching team leaders on required skill sets, talents, and capabilities. Accomplished through ongoing 1:1s, mid-year and annual performance and development reviews.

  • Manages associate performance for effectiveness and efficiency in relation to customer service and center profitability.

  • Customers

  • Interacts with sales to ensure smooth hand transition of projects from the sales process.

  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed.

  • Responsible for keeping abreast of Trane products, product design, and requirements for installation as well as working knowledge of HVAC principles.

  • Process

  • Ensures that quality standards are maintained, after an order is closed, thru the equipment installation process, and functions as required to meet customer requirements.

  • Overall equipment installation responsibility for the following functions within the categories of new equipment, start-up and warranty service, and controls equipment: order validation, order entry, order follow up, customer inquiry, submittals, service coordination, building automation coordination, project management, technical support, claims, and resource allocations.

  • Responsible for internal communication flow relative to the fulfillment process.

  • Facilitating and assisting with MDI/MWI (Managing for Daily Improvement or Weekly) Issues and working with the plants as required.

  • Monitor, measure, and modify process and process measurements to meet customer needs effectively and efficiently.

  • Maintains quality standards by supervising and inspecting internal process compliance.

  • Required to monitor and approve Process gap charge back/margin erosion (Concessions, Warranty, Underages) and Vendor Purchase orders

  • Financial Responsibility

  • Responsible for achieving/exceeding annual objectives regarding profit, volume, growth, business mix and share.

  • Responsible for monthly reporting and forecasting.

  • Strategic Vendor management/reporting, as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Coach and mentor direct reports and team leads in the equipment fulfillment process. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the regional team. Carries out management/leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance and development reviews; addressing issues and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Base Pay Range - $123,600 - $164,400. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
