ManpowerGroup Inspector - CalOSHA in Livermore, California

Our client, a leading manufacturer of overhead cranes is seeking a CalOSHA Inspector to join their team. As a CalOSHA Inspector, you will be part of the Compliance and Safety Team supporting Field Operations. The ideal candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to travel occasionally and a pleasant, cooperative can-do attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CalOSHA Inspector

Location: Livermore, California

Pay Range: $42 - $48/hr. (plus potential for sign-on bonus).

What’s the Job?

  • Complete the schedule of monthly inspections and preventative maintenance as scheduled.

  • Understand sold work hours and perform inspections within the allowed hours, without compromising safety or quality.

  • Perform inspection in accordance with established guidelines. Document finds and make corrective recommendations.

  • Consult with client regarding all repairs and safety related issues.

  • Complete and provide all proper electronic documentation using the established digital tools required for each service and obtain customers' signature and acceptance.

What’s Needed?

  • Associate's degree in industrial/mechanical technology or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with cranes or derricks, including a minimum of 2 years of field experience with cranes, including Inspector, Operator, Field Maintenance Technician, etc.

  • MUST have and maintain a good clean driving record.

  • MUST be available to work varied schedule (occasional O.T.) and be "on-call" on a rotating schedule.

  • MUST be able to travel throughout the US on occasion.
