Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Administrator to join our construction team. As a Contract Administrator, you will manage and oversee contract administration activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

  • Ensure contracts are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Monitor contract performance and ensure all terms and conditions are met

  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation

  • Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely manner

  • Coordinate with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to address contract-related matters

  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals

  • Provide guidance on contract administration policies and procedures

  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies

  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and payments according to contract terms

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, law, or related field

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction industry

  • Strong understanding of contract law and construction industry standards

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
