Lockheed Martin Project Engineer Staff - Clearance Required in Littleton, Colorado

Description: As part of the Spectrum Convergence team, the project engineer will lead a multi-disciplinary

engineering team on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) program - Trusted Manager (TMAN) product. The candidate should have prior experience with cost, schedule, and technical management of systems while working in an Agile environment.

This is a Project Engineer role with a focus on Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities. This role will be responsible for generating BPEs, BOEs, and other proposal activities. In addition, they will be responsible for continual communication, coordination, and providing status to existing program customers. Secret clearance required to start.

• Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.

• Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.

• Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases.

• Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications:

- Current/Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a final TS/SCI Clearance

- Experience in Project Execution or Program Management; supporting programs or projects to achieve their cost, schedule, and technical goals.

- Proposal Management experience

- Cost Account Management (CAM) experience

- Proficient with MS Office products (Excel, Project, PowerPoint)

- Highly proficient with MS Excel to include advanced functions

- Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)

- Previous Risk & Opportunity Management responsibility

- Previous proposal or Basis-of-Estimates writing/reviewing experience

- Experience developing and executing program and project plans

- Understanding of System, Software, and Hardware Engineering processes

- Experience with customer interaction such as for requirements solicitation

- Knowledge of or experience with Agile processes

- Demonstrated experience providing status and program deliverables to customers

Desired Skills:

- Prefer TS/SCI clearance. Minimal requirement is a SECRET clearance with an ability to obtain a TS clearance.

- CAM Certified

- Control Account or Financial Management Experience

- Control Account Management Certification

- Highly proficient with Excel and advanced functions

- Experience authoring compliant basis of estimates (BOE) for proposals

- Experience managing Safety Critical systems

- Familiar with Cross Domain Solution products

- Proven team cooperation and communication Skills

- Experience Leading Teams

- Complete Program Lifecycle - Experience on Development and Sustainment programs

- Systems Engineering Background

- Some travel will be required to fulfill the duties of this role (up to 25%)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
