Job Title: PROFESSIONAL PET GROOMER Hours: Part time or Full time up to 40 hours per week, Flexible Schedule Pay: 50% commission with daily cash tips, Reports To: Store Manager

About You: You are a pet enthusiast who demonstrates a precise, detailed, and caring approach to grooming dogs & cats while providing an exceptional level of service for the customer and their pet. You are comfortable around dogs and cats and are safety-minded with a gentle spirit. You want to work in a brand-new grooming spa and grow in the Littleton community with us!

PEOPLE WOULD DESCRIBE YOU AS: 1) Willing and eager to learn and always improve skill sets 2) A multitasker 3) Highly alert with knowledge of stressors and pet health risks 4) Humane, patient, and gentle when handling pets 5) Comfortable around all breeds of dogs & cats 6) Someone who works well under pressure 7) Team player who is accountable, responsible & reliable 8) Clear communicator who is informative with customers and team 9) Organized and thorough 10) Passionate about grooming and willing to help others learn

Your Experience: 1) You have a minimum of 2 years of professional level grooming 2) You have a high school diploma or GED. Some level of certification in grooming is not required but ideal. 3) You have experience working in a fast-paced environment 4) You have experience managing multiple tasks at once 5) You are an excellent time manager 6) You have experience training other about grooming topics

As an EarthWise Pet Groomer, you responsibilities may include:

1) Grooming animals to company standards and client expectations 2) Train apprentice groomers the grooming trade through structured training experiences 3) Brush teeth, trim nails, express anal glands 4) Maintain an upbeat attitude 5) Calming anxious animals 6) Ensure company policies are being followed 7) Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need

8) Create a welcoming environment for animals and their owners 9) Maintaining and adhering to all company safety guidelines 10) Promote follow-up appointments & schedule appointments 11) Communicate with customers and other staff members in thorough manner 12) Build rapport/relationships with customers 13) Maintain clean working environment. Clean, clean, clean is very important. 14) Make product recommendations and additional care recommendations to clients as needed and for the benefit of the company

Additional Qualifications and Expectations: 1) Ability to work with other groomers & bathers 2) Ability to lift large 50+ lbs dogs 3) Calming presence to soothe dogs 4) Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time 5) Great communication skills 6) Ability to work on a team 7) Computer skills sufficient to operate POS, grooming, and other training software
