What We Are Looking For

The Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the flow of our production processes, ensuring timely order fulfillment and accurate shipping. This individual will be responsible for managing order entry, tracking inventory, coordinating shipments, and overseeing the workflow from production to delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities: Order Entry: Accurately enter and process incoming orders into the company's database or order management system. Verify order details, pricing, and delivery addresses to minimize errors. Coordinate with sales, customer service, and production teams to resolve any order discrepancies or issues.

Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure products are readily available for order fulfillment. Collaborate with the procurement department to restock items as needed. Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Shipping Coordination: Organize and schedule shipments based on customer requirements and delivery deadlines. Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. Communicate with logistics providers and carriers to ensure on-time delivery.

Process Workflow: Oversee the production workflow from raw materials to finished products. Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address any issues affecting production schedules. Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce lead times.

Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards before shipment. Conduct inspections and quality checks as needed. Identify and address quality issues and deviations from standards.

Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with customers regarding order status, delays, and other relevant information. Keep internal stakeholders informed of any production or shipping issues. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns. What You Will Bring

A Production Coordinator needs to have at least a bachelor's degree and 1 year of work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience . This could include a background in any administrative position for any type of business. Understanding of the manufacturing process and practices is a plus. Previous customer service experience is helpful.

The Good Stuff! Salary Range: $55,000 - $64,000 annually (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance. 3D Systems offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage, company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance, and company-paid basic life insurance.
