Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Procurement Specialist will be an individual contributor responsible for supporting various strategic and operational activities of the Sourcing and Procurement teams. The ideal candidate will be someone who is driven, organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys developing and driving business processes. This role will participate in change management initiatives, sourcing/procurement activities, program management, and drive execution and accountability in the team, and will communicate with all levels of the organization. They will be responsible for creating, implementing, overseeing, and streamlining procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage procurement projects, from initiation to execution, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness, including managing stakeholders, maintaining friendly relations with internal clients, building realistic project plans, and delivering outcomes on time

  • Support development of Vendor Management programs and activities - must have experience with vendor management

  • Support vendor onboarding, part number setup, purchase requisitions, delivery tracking, and other procurement administrative duties

  • Develop program plans and reporting metrics to aid the team in working strategically, tactically, and efficiently

  • Assist in creating detailed purchase plans for material requirement planning, multi-source vendor qualification, and process improvement initiatives

  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Program Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of the procurement process and methodology, and familiarity with the suppliers who provide wireless network material and equipment

  • Familiarity with wireless network infrastructure and industry knowledge is a plus

  • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems

  • Analytical skills in operations and finance

  • Proficiency in Google Suite products as well as outstanding written and communication skills

  • Ability to create consensus and results from peers in cross-functional positions

  • Must be detail-oriented, skilled at multitasking, and an excellent problem solver

  • Passion for team environments and building robust relationships across the organization

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
