Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Manager, Wireless NOC will manage the 24/7 DISH Wireless Network Operations Center, leading and directing teams for 5G Network Surveillance, Incident Management, and Fault Isolation. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end monitoring and troubleshooting of the 5G platform, quickly analyzing service and system issues to determine and implement corrective actions. This position will escalate complex issues to Advanced Operations and engineering resources, determine root causes for failures, and develop corrective actions, ranging from configuration changes to new operational procedures. Additionally, the role will contribute to ongoing process improvements using Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics to eliminate errors, maximize hardware/software efficiencies, and increase service uptime, ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Hire and manage a team of NS, IM, and FIM Engineers and SMEs.

  • Develop and maintain training programs for skill development.

  • Engage and escalate issues with Advanced Ops, Engineering, and vendors for critical support.

  • Drive automation to reduce MTTR, optimize resources, and improve processes.

  • Analyze KPIs and implement changes for optimal network performance.

  • Ensure network meets assurance KPIs and SLA, and manage outages and emergencies.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

As a successful Manager of the Wireless NOC, you will have:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10 years of telecom/wireless experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience managing 4G/5G NOC shift environments and troubleshooting.

  • Swing shift 12pm - 8pm MT

  • Organizational skills to manage dynamic schedules and team workloads efficiently.

  • Good understanding of 5G functional components and ability to troubleshoot technology issues.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $140,125.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
