Lockheed Martin Engineering Apprentice - Integrated Logistics Support in Littleton, Colorado

This role focuses on providing Property Management and other Logistics related support to the Exploitation and Analysis of Geospatial Intelligence (EAGIL) program.

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic candidate striving to succeed in a career that develops new skills while performing a variety of tasks to include analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking. This employment opportunity with Lockheed Martin has on-the-job mentorship by some of the brightest engineers in the defense industry. They will challenge you to grow your computer systems, hardware, software, and networking skills.

Daily activities include, but are not limited to, maintaining proper inventory and accountability of equipment & material; movement of assets to, from, and within the program area; assisting with internal and external audits; placing and tracking orders with vendors; packing and shipping equipment to remote locations; maintaining proper calibration records; reporting on lost or damaged assets. This is a very physical position that requires much lifting and moving of sometimes large, awkward, and expensive equipment.

The successful candidate will be working under the direction of a lead engineer to advance development environments that enable ISR warfare systems vital to our nation's defense. Basic Qualifications:

- High School diploma

- Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) program

- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of new skills & tools

- Must be highly organized

- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements

- Ability to lift 50lbs

- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:

- Previous property management experience

- Experience with material procurement

- Ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly

- Experience operating a pallet jack

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $20,900 - $40,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
