Adecco US, Inc. Manufacturing Engineer in Little Rock, Arkansas

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with an industry-leading manufacturer to recruit and hire a Manufacturing Engineer for their facility located in Batesville, AR, about an hour and half north of Little Rock!

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing tools and processes that will streamline production and optimize efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and implement process and manufacturing improvements, optimize automation, smart tools, and date systems.

  • Evaluate manufacturing costs for new products, including design, production, and maintenance.

  • Analyze costs, lead projects & provide engineering expertise for business plans.

  • Support the product development and design teams introduce new parts efficiently.

  • Provide expertise for various processes and tools including welding, laser cutting, and robotic programming.

  • Ensure safety in the workplace by designing ergonomic work stations and following safety protocols.

  • Lead or participate in acquiring new equipment, improving productivity, and managing data collection systems.

  • Participate in product development from concept to production, advising on manufacturability and implementing new technologies.

  • Implement cost-saving programs and ensure accurate material bills.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

  • Provide guidance to manufacturing and assembly personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • 4+ years of experience

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and metal fabrication techniques such as welding, laser cutting, press brakes, and CNC machining.

  • Experience with Automation systems, including AGVs, smart tools, data collection systems, Robotics, and PLCs.

  • Programming Experience is strongly preferred.
