ManpowerGroup Production Forklift Operator in Little Canada, Minnesota

Production Material Handler /Forklift

Location: Little Canada

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st (start time between 7am-9am, no set end time) – Saturdays required plus 4 other days during the week, Sundays and one other day off.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supply Production Room with raw product for processing

• Rotate current inventory to ensure first in first out.

• Restock coolers with fresh product daily.

• Make sure the Raw Cooler and Processing aisles are clean and organized daily.

• Make sure orders that are made for other Distributors are organized and placed where they belong.

• Maintain the Forklift used each day.

• Communicate with Supervisors and co-workers of any issues that arise.

• Fill out Product Sheets daily for records scan product into inputs and outputs.

• Understand full use of scanning guns and use daily to complete job functions.

• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

• Food Safety as it relates to this position

• Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating forklift equipment, required

• Previous experience operating power pallet jack preferred, but not required

• Previous warehouse experience preferred

• Good verbal and written communication

• Well organized with attention to detail and quality

• Ability to use a handheld RF scanner

• 1-2 years’ experience in a manual/physically demanding work environment

• Must be able to read product codes and information quickly and accurately, strong attention to detail.

• Ability to safely perform tasks and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

• Walking, bending and lifting up to 75 pounds plus on a regular basis throughout each shift

• Must be able to work in a wet and cold environment (0 to 40 degrees)

• Work as part of a team

* PPE provided by company is boots, gloves, hairnet, apron, plastic sleeves, hearing protection (if requested by contractor)
