SECHAN ELECTRONICS INC Test Technician Supervisor in Lititz, Pennsylvania

Located in Lititz, PA and Lancaster, PA we are currently accepting applications for a Test Supervisor at our Lancaster facility on First Shift. Please review all of the below information and if you are qualified and interested apply today!

The Test Supervisor coordinates the daily workflow through the test department and adjusts workflow and resources to support company needs. This individual will lead work reviews, monitor quality and efficiency metrics, and provide reports on test activities problems, and improvements.

Supervisory Responsibilities: •  Regularly review and communicate department performance in attaining goals, measuring performance, and delivering on established corporate metrics. •  Develop and maintain a skilled workforce through timely coaching and feedback, cross-training, and employee development. •  Maintain a sound organizational development plan by establishing policies to drive retention, attract top talent and ensure adequate development of future leaders through succession planning and training initiatives. •  Develop, implement and execute on strategic plans and financial goals across the operational landscape to meet deliverables and drive continuous improvement

Position Responsibilities: •  Develops daily work priorities and communicates workflow needs to the test team.  Adjusts workflow and assigns tasks as company needs dictate. •  Maintains cleaning scheduled (6S) and ensures the test team completes necessary cleaning. •  Maintains test assets inventory and submits assets for calibration per schedule.  Assigns inventory tasks as needed. •  Knowledgeable in testing to maintain workflow. Be able to follow test procedures, schematics, and manufacturing documents. •  Interfaces with engineering and other departments to communicate status of testing priorities and results. •  Attends and participates in various production and engineering meetings to ensure workflow is aligned with company and customer needs. •  Serves as primary back-up to the Test Manager to ensure department continues to function during absences. •  Provides regular feedback and coaching to test technicians.  Provides performance feedback to Test Manager. •  Participates with the Test Manager in hiring, employee development, training, counseling, and disciplinary matters. •  Completes reports and maintains spreadsheets as required. •  Perform other duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives.

Skills & Abilities: •  Knowledgeable in electronics and computer equipment, testing and processing, and troubleshooting circuit components. •  Knowledge of incoming test requirements, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of the testing process. •  Knowledge and ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, measuring devices, lab standards, and test equipment. •  Advanced ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, drawings, and wire diagrams. •  Strong interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills. •  Capable of multi-tasking and handling constant changes in priorities. •  Flexibility to work all shifts as needed. •  Ability to operate test systems, test equipment, and computer systems. •  Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Windows. •  Proficient with test software and platforms. •  Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with attention to details. •  Capable of multi-tasking and handling constant changes in priorities. •  Advanced computer skills required

Qualifications: •  An associate degree in Electronics or E ectrical Engineering or military training. •  Previous experience as a test technician and team lead/supervisory experience. •  Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Work Environment: •  Production Environment:  Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. •  1st Shift schedule but availability to manage all shifts. •  9/80 work schedule. •  Office located in Lancaster, PA
