Position Overview

Navistar is looking for a Test Automation Lead to support our Digital Transformation Journey.

As an Experienced TOSCA & Qtest Test Architect at Navistar, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, deploying, and troubleshooting functional automated testing solutions. You will be accountable for the overall functional test automation strategy and execution at Navistar, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and support test automation solutions across various environments and platforms, including Web, Windows, ERP, Salesforce, and APIs.

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate test automation into different stages of the software development lifecycle.

  • Integrate TOSCA with tools such as Solution Manager (SolMan), Jira, and Jenkins to enable a seamless CI/CD pipeline.

  • Ensure efficient communication and data exchange between TOSCA and other tools.

  • Utilize Jenkins for implementing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Monitor and optimize Jenkins configurations to support automated testing processes.

  • Customize and extend Tricentis TOSCA functionalities to integrate with DevOps pipelines and databases.

  • Ensure compatibility and smooth data flow between TOSCA and databases.

  • Utilize familiarity with Selenium to convert Selenium scripts to TOSCA scripts for enhanced automated testing coverage.

  • Maintain a library of converted scripts for future use and reference.

  • Utilize tools such as Neo Load to perform performance and load testing.

  • Ensure thorough functional testing is conducted to meet project requirements and quality standards.

  • Utilize both relational and non-relational databases to manage testing data and support automation processes.

  • Leverage DevSecOps tools such as Jira, Github, and Jenkins for efficient testing and continuous integration practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 5 years of information systems/information technology experience

OR

  • Master’s degree

  • At least 3 years of information systems/information technology experience

OR

  • At least 7 years of information systems/information technology experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

  • 12 plus years’ experience in software test automation minimum of 5 years as TOSCA Architect and Qtest hands on experience

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work within a team and in collaboration with different teams.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Tricentis Qtest is mandatory.

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience with Neo Load is recommended.

  • Relevant certifications in Tricentis Tosca, Qtest and Neo Load are a plus.

  • Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, running, testing, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools.

  • Experience working virtually in a globally dispersed team.

  • Good understanding on Testing, Automation Testing, Performance testing concepts, Agile methodology and Knowledge on cloud Infrastructure and database concepts

  • Should be able to implement automation strategy and guide the team.

  • Experience with different test automation approaches (including BDD and hybrid) using the tools Selenium with Java / Python - Knowledge at scripting/coding level.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and team management skills
