A Carney Technical Quality Control Analyst (QC) will be involved in testing web-based training, immersive learning simulations, mobile applications, and serious gaming projects. The QC team identifies performance and functional issues and tracks them through the revision cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various methods of manual testing on applications/solutions, including Creating ad- unique/custom solutions.

  • Compatibility testing, Performance testing, and Accessibility testing

  • Compliance testing (including SCORM and Section 508)

  • Document errors, report errors to appropriate parties, and verify the resolution of the issue

  • Manage working on multiple project with strict budgets and deadlines

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive solutions that are within sphere of influence

  • Matching product to specifications

    Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a field related to information technology and at least two (2) years of progressive experience testing websites, mobile utility and applications, and Section 508-compliant and SCORM-conformant asynchronous eLearning courses using a variety of applications and internet technologies.

OR

o In lieu of degree, at least five years of similar relevant work experience testing websites, mobile utility and applications, and Section 508-compliant and SCORM-conformant asynchronous eLearning courses using a variety of applications and internet technologies

• Current Personnel (Security) Clearance/ Eligibility (PCL) at the Secret level

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with internet protocols such as XML, PHP, HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets, Section 508 requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting deployment of asynchronous eLearning courses on LMSs as well as open-source learning platform and web formats.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience communicating technical terms to non-technical audiences as well as serve as the SME on technologies to support mobile applications.

• Experience with software applications such as JAWS and JAWS Inspect to ensure that content being developed is Section 508 compliant and web accessible.

Preferred to have:

  • • Two (2) or more years of experience with rapid eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate/Animate, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Professional Suite to create, develop, or manipulate assets for eLearning courses.

• Experience with software applications such as ANDI or comparable software to ensure that content being developed is Section 508 compliant and web accessible.
