Job Description

This position will be responsible for leading the Brazing area Machine Operators and Set Up Operators in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Productivity. That responsibility includes direction of these associates, training of new associates, and supporting them to reach the daily production goals of the area. The Brazing Lead will execute changeovers according to the direction of the PA3 Supervisor and Shift Coordinators, troubleshoot technical and quality issues, execute complex adjustments, and maintain the Quality standards of the area. This position will require frequent mobility throughout the production area. A detailed understanding of Brazing equipment is required. General computer knowledge is also required. Qualifications

  • HS Diploma/GED from an accredited school required

  • Ability to stand and be mobile for 8-12 hours

  • Ability to follow written Work Instructions, Production Orders, and Product Specifications

  • Proficient in the use of measuring devices

  • Effective written and oral communication

  • Minimum of 2 years working in the Brazing area

  • Ability to identify and document Safety Issues

  • Ability to perform all set up tasks

  • Ability to determine and make adjustments to Brazing equipment as necessary

  • Ability to inspect product for defects

  • Ability to train, evaluate, and document the performance of all individuals in Brazing area
