Job Description

Aiding to the production process by operating the punching machines successfully. Responsible for gaining and maintaining general knowledge of machines throughout the conversion area. You will be responsible for completing the required training measures (PQ&T) as they are needed. You are responsible for maintaining the appropriate process systems, 6S and production standards. As a Bosch Associate, you will be expected to maintain a positive work environment and follow the appropriate safety procedures. You must be open and willing to assist others throughout the department.

Qualifications

Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly

General Math skills

Ability to multitask

Ability to stand for 8 hours

Ability to read and follow instructions

Ability to lift (up to) 40lb. boxes

High School Diploma or GED required

Prefer experience in machine operating

Additional Information

Load rolls of sandpaper on machines as needed

Checking dies and plates to determine if they are usable

Use SAP to look up materials

Operate pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist

Set up and start machine and operate successfully

Make adjustments to machine as needed

Troubleshoot machine issues and make repairs according to escalation plan

Reading and following standard operating procedures pertaining to the machine being operated

Follow the appropriate quality standards and measures for the machine being operated

Understand and following procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization

Maintaining knowledge of all safety procedures associated with the machine being operated
