Material Handler driving energy transformation

Lincoln, Nebraska, US

Driving the energy transformation is critical to reducing climate change. To limit climate risks, it is necessary to reduce the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere.

Our Material Handling teams play an important role in driving that transformation.

Hexagon Agility, a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions, is driving the energy transformation in the transport sector. Our technology enables hard to decarbonize segments – such as trucks and buses – to move from diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven colleague that wants to work closely with our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and handle incoming shipments, ensuring that all materials received are in good condition and are not damaged. Accurate documentation is required.

  • Perform delivery of materials, supplies, and parts to the production work cells in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain records accurately as required.

  • Data entry of material moves using handheld scanner or computer into the ERP system and other clerical duties as assigned.

  • Support manufacturing in producing a product per Standard Operating Procedures, Lincoln Process Specifications and other work instructions.

  • Assist manufacturing in producing a quality product by delivering materials and components in a timely manner and in proper quantities and condition.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy by assisting the inventory controls specialist as needed.

  • Align with Company policies and procedures.

  • Stay in sync with safety programs, policies, and guidelines to ensure clean, orderly, and safe working conditions.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and related areas.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of modern warehouse procedures, including methods of proper and orderly storage.

  • Prior experience of basic stock inventory procedures, and the use of handheld scanners in a computerized warehouse record keeping systems.

  • Basic level of MS Office knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel preferred.

    Credentials and Experience

  • High School Diploma preferred.

  • Two years of experience working in a material warehouse or storage operation.

  • Minimum 2 years verifiable forklift experience. Be able to become certified to operate a fork lift by Agility Fuel Solutions. Must be able to maintain qualifications on forklift.

  • Valid Nebraska Driver’s License with good driving record required in order to operate company vehicles.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Shown driving experience with straight truck is helpful.

    Other Skills/Abilities or Special Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis, up to 120 lbs. on an occasional basis [team lift available].

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb or walk for up to 8 hours or more per day.

  • Ability to work with both hands and both feet on a regular basis.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment with a strong sense of urgency.

    Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and work independently.

  • Basic understanding of MRP/ERP systems.

  • Able to work outside in rain, snow, heat or cold conditions as needed.

  • Ability to work additional days outside established work schedule to achieve production goals as necessary.
