A career with the Allo Drop team (FTTP) is both challenging and rewarding. Since there are no two homes or buildings alike, installing fiber to the premise (FTTP) requires mental flexibility, physical dexterity, and a willingness to constantly adapt to changing conditions. There is no business as usual in this position, youll arrive on the job each day to find a totally new environment, new questions, new challenges, and new ways to get the job done right. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Start your day knowing it probably wont be typical and brand-new tasks not listed below are bound to come up.

  • Select routes and place/bury drops for residential fiber plant.

  • Operate equipment needed to install buried drops.

  • Yard and landscaping restoration.

  • Climbing a ladder will be required for aerial drop work.

  • Whether flying solo or tackling the day as a team, youll be expected to work efficiently and productively. Flexibility is key.

  • Select materials for use in construction of fiber distribution system.

  • Secure necessary locates through 1-call system before work is initiated.

  • Document the construction of fiber plant and provide daily and weekly production reports to the Supervisor.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Provide a safe work environment by being knowledgeable of and enforcing all state, local, federal safety regulations and company safety policies.

  • Operate and monitor company-owned vehicle and equipment by inspecting condition daily and maintaining a valid drivers license.

  • Restoration work - duties as assigned.

  • Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate home office area based on client needs, business needs and project scope.

  • You will be expected to lift up to 100 pounds.

  • Other duties as assigned.
