Job Description

This is temporary role for 1 year working as an Analyst for Nelnet. on the CRI Team. After one year there may be an opportunity to move to the company that will be handling the CRI contract.

This is a work from home position for a candidate located in one of the following locations:

- Madison, WI

- Lincoln, NE

Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance

Must reside in the United States and be a United States citizen

This process involves collecting and providing 7 years of previous work experience, previous addresses, and contact information of people that can verify this information

Must not be delinquent or in default with any federal debt

Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.

  2. Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement.

  3. Manage multiple conflicting priorities & consistently meet deadlines.

  4. Act as the lead on projects.

  5. Prepare project plans.

  7. Work with other analysts and management to conduct analysis and solve problems regarding routine & chronic problems.

  8. Acquire knowledge in systems and processes.

  9. Monitor progress of projects.

  10. Participate in and facilitate projects to make improvements within department.

  11. Commit to getting the job done.

  12. Share responsibility of projects with management.

  13. Train within department for the general and orientation modules.

  14. Learn basics of and participate in CPI projects.

EDUCATION :

4-year college degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE :

3-4 years of experience in an analytical, student loan, technical, problem-solving or project management position.
