In this role, the Marketing Coordinator for Latin America will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to effectively position EBSCO in the territory through multiple channels.

The marketing coordinator will create a consistent marketing approach, support the needs of sales, and support conferences for the territory. He/she will work across multiple areas of the business to help drive sales by assisting in the development of compelling product positioning, creative messaging and innovative marketing strategies.

Essential Functions

The marketing coordinator will plan and execute campaigns utilizing a variety of channels and tactics as appropriate for the region. Specifically, the marketing coordinator will:

  • Work with Marketing team for Latin America to create fiscal year marketing plan and 6-month tactical plans aligned with the territory that drive lead generation, product adoption and renewals, and influence purchasing decisions of EBSCO products.

  • Assist in development of messaging and product positioning based on understanding the needs of the territory.

  • Draft and/or localize marketing content including blog posts, newsletters, infographics, flyers, web copy, emails, and sales collateral to drive demand and awareness of EBSCO’s product lines.

  • Work with social media team to develop an effective social media strategy and drive social engagement.

  • Facilitate ongoing communication/coordination with sales team.

  • Create customer engagement materials such as posters, user guides, infographics and HTML for customers to send emails to end users for major product lines.

  • Coordinate participation at conferences and events, including workshops, open days and panel discussions.

  • Maintain, update, and continuously enhance the Spanish website.

  • Translation of marketing material as needed.

  • Work on other projects as needed / directed by marketing management.

Required Qualifications

  • Based in Peru

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications

  • Native speaker fluency in Spanish

  • Proficient knowledge of the English language in speech and writing

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office, graphic design programs a plus (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)

  • Positive attitude and team player

  • 10% travel required

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities

  • Excellent organization skills
