Reputable Downtown Lima law firm seeking full-time experienced paralegal/legal assistant specialized in estate administration and associated areas of estate planning, real estate, and business law.  

 

 

Duties:

 

 

  • Communication with clients in an effective and professional manner

``` - Prepare letters, emails, and other correspondence with clients

``` - Maintain attorney calendars and schedules appointments   

```{=html}

``` - Prepare probate pleadings involving all types of estate administration and some guardianship pleadings   

```{=html}

``` - Maintain probate administration files and work independently to track deadlines   

```{=html}

``` - Draft basic estate planning documents and real estate deeds and affidavits   

```{=html}

``` - Assist with trust administration and other non-probate asset transfers as requested

``` - Perform additional responsibilities to help the flow of the office   

 

 

Experience

 

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate administration preferred

``` - Associate degree, bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred, but not required

``` - Excellent interpersonal skills

``` - Attention to detail

``` - Ability to work in a fast-pasted environment
