Shawnee Country Club Maintenance Technician in Lima, Ohio

Job Description: Shawnee Country Club is seeking talented individuals to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. Key Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems in our facility. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and functionality of our operations. Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting equipment, checking fluid levels, and replacing worn-out parts
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with machinery, such as motors, conveyors, and pumps
  • Conduct electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules and implement efficient maintenance strategies
  • Weld or fabricate parts as needed for equipment repairs
  • Assist in facilities maintenance tasks, such as plumbing repairs or building renovations

Experience level:

  • 2-3 years' experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in maintenance or a similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing machinery
  • Proficiency in electrical systems and ability to read schematics
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
  • Leadership qualities to effectively coordinate maintenance activities
