Aerotek Warehouse Associate Within Tech Company in Libertyville, Illinois

Job Title: Material Handler on 1st shift $18.00 per hour

Job Description

Shift: schedule 1st shift: 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday, requiring OT based off internal demands, and the last Saturday of each month for Inventory)

Pay: $18.00 per hour starting, with an increase to $20.00 per hour after probationary period (720hrs worked)

Job Duties:

Day-to-day:

  • Receive an order to pick for the assemblers

  • Use a cart that includes a computer with an electronic pick sheet and an RF scanner

  • Follow the pick sheet to locate parts from the back of the warehouse to the front

  • Scan barcodes on parts and apply new barcodes if necessary

  • Collect all parts for the build and place them on a cart for the assemblers

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick, break down parts and cardboard, and QC orders for production and direct shipping to customers

  • Use Chromebook and scanner to manage inventory control

  • Assist with item requests by helping other departments get spare parts

  • Package and perform Quality Control of systems and parts for shipping

  • Check in RMAs (Return to Manufacturer) and RTVs (Return to Vendor), reporting damages and discrepancies

  • Ensure timely and accurate receipt of products from vendors

  • Prepare skids for freight shipment, including wrapping and strapping

  • Contribute ideas and participation in monthly meetings

  • Complete semi-annual inventories and weekly cycle counts

  • Perform any other project or workload as designated by the manager

  • Mandatory overtime required during peak times of the year

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in LIBERTYVILLE, Illinois.

Work Environment

Our client build and develops different types of computers and servers for a variety of clients nationwide. The entire facility is temperature controlled, very organized, and extremely clean. The culture is awesome. Employees can wear whatever they like and can use headphones during their shift. The facility features a large cafeteria with free healthy snacks and drinks, a Foosball table, other activities for breaks, and a large TV.
