Aerotek $16.50-$18.15 Entry-Level Machine Attendant Opportunity At New Manufacturing Factory In Libertyville With Raise After 30 Days in Libertyville, Illinois


Day Shift 630am-630pm

Starts pay: $15.50

After 30 days: $ 16.50

Night Shift: 630pm-630am

Starting pay: $17.05

After 30 days: $18.15

Those in this role do not require any specific experience. Must be comfortable with 12-hour shift on rotating schedule. Will be dealing with the product that come out of the machines and inspect overall quality of finished product. There are many machines on the production floor, and the employee will oversee 2-3 at a time.

Job Description:


-Will oversee the machine operate and produce product

-Will attend 2-3 machines making sure they stay running

-If the machine goes down, will flag down their lead

-Product will fall into a bin that is on a scale, and once the scale reaches the desired weight, the machine pushes the full box away and replaces with an empty one

-Will then tape the box shut, lift the box (20-50 lbs), and place it on a pallet

-Will repeat the above steps until the pallet has reached the appropriate height

-Once the pallet is full, will use a PALLET JACK to move the material to the other side of the production floor


-Every 3-4 hours will pull some plastics caps out of the bin they fall in, and do a VISUAL INSPECTION of the caps

-Will look to ensure the parts don't have rough edges, are melted, or burned (called defects)
