Itron, Inc. Sr. Product Manager- Grid Edge Intelligence as a Service in Liberty Lake, Washington

Within Itron's Outcomes product management business unit, the Senior Product Manager - Grid Edge Intelligence as a Service will be responsible for defining and executing Itron's Grid Edge Intelligence product offerings for public power and channel sales markets globally. Grid Edge Intelligence spans a variety of Itron's product lines, including electric AMI, grid management, operations management, distributed intelligence and consumer engagement. In this highly visible role, goals will include cross functional collaboration across internal lines of business to develop packaged "as a service" product offerings and bundled solutions for small/medium-sized utilities, coops, and municipalities. Of all the utility customer segments, these have the largest total number of customers and represent a tremendous growth opportunity for Itron. Duties & Responsibilities: Research competitive market landscape to identify customer requirements for electric AMI and Grid Edge Intelligence products and services. Collaborate with internal Itron product teams to develop tailored product offerings and bundles for public power utilities, coops, and municipalities, and later expanding those to support larger utilities. Develop pricing and cost models, in conjunction with Itron Global Managed Services and internal support teams. Enable product marketing and sales teams to lead and develop go-to-market activities, including product collateral, training, messaging, pricing, promotional content and case studies. Support the channel sales team to onboard, train and support new and existing channel sales partners. Identify and support customer opportunities and RFP responses to drive sales growth. Develop, track, and report Grid Edge Intelligence financial performance metrics and goals. Support long-term strategy and roadmap development for Grid Edge Intelligence services in collaboration with other Itron PBUs. Represent Itron at trade shows and customer-facing presentations. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in electric utility or related industries. Experience and understanding of the requirements for taking products to market in a channel sales environment. Desired experience with indirect and direct channels. Strong analytic background, able to think deeply about business needs and understand the related cost and price drivers that will drive market adoption. Must be adept at evangelizing and driving cross-functional consensus across multiple groups. Strong and flexible communication skills, able to communicate with both a technical and sales audience interchangeably. Self-starter, well organized, flexible, and motivated to grow line of business for Itron. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field. MBA a plus.
