Responsibilities
Meridell Achievement Center is looking for dynamic Mental Health Techs (MHTs)! If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of children and adolescents, we’d love to hear from you.
Shift: 8-hour shifts, full-time (40 hours per week); availability on holidays and weekends required. Shifts may include: 6:30am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-10:30pm, and/or 10:30pm-6:30am.

The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is a key member of the Meridell Achievement Center who works with our treatment team to use sound judgment and appropriate therapeutic boundaries to provide direct care services and supervision for assigned child and adolescent patients. The MHT is involved in all aspects of the patient’s care, from getting up in the morning to getting ready for bed at night and continual monitoring while the patient sleeps. The MHT ensures high-quality delivery of programming and services that align with the mission, vision, and values of Meridell and UHS! The care provided by MHT’s contributes to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Mental Health Tech Job Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent (some college preferred)
Valid Texas Driver’s License and a good driving record (for transports with patients)
Must be 21 and older to apply
Must be able to pass a drug screen and state background test
