VectorCSP Sr Logistics Analyst in Lexington Park, Maryland

Overview:

The Navy Multi-Mission Helicopter Program Office (PMA-299) is responsible for acquisition logistics, sustainment, and life cycle support of domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) H-60 variants including MH-60R and MH-60S. Logistics supports multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) within PMA-299 including In-Service, MH-60R, Air Vehicle, Mission Systems, Digital Interoperability, Avionics, T700 Engines and Drives, Weapons and FMS. PMA-299 requires program management and logistics support services in acquisition and sustainment for the life cycle of specified weapons systems, systems of systems (SoS), sub-systems, and support equipment (SE).

Job Summary:

As Logistics Analyst, Senior, this role p rovides guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft , weapon systems, training, or SE programs .

Education and Experience:

  • At least ten (10) years' FTE experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DOD weapons systems performing any of the following: LORA, maintenance planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis.

  • Masters of Arts or Masters of Science degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management

    Essential Duties:

  • Conducts logistics , supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provides recommendations for tailoring, optimizing , and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft , weapon systems, training, or SE programs

  • Provides recommendations for changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation, and facilities

  • Provides recommendations for the development of LCC and TOC Management Plans

  • Provides recommendations for the review and development of maintenance plans/Logistics Support Analysis (/LSA) records, maintenance tasks and LORA recommendations.

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • LCC experience desired.

  • Four (4) years' experience supervising and directing in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of IS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition command or supporting an acquisition command.
