VectorCSP Sr Configuration Management Analyst in Lexington Park, Maryland

Overview:

The Navy Multi-Mission Helicopter Program Office (PMA-299) is responsible for acquisition logistics, sustainment, and life cycle support of domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) H-60 variants including MH-60R and MH-60S. Logistics supports multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) within PMA-299 including In-Service, MH-60R, Air Vehicle, Mission Systems, Digital Interoperability, Avionics, T700 Engines and Drives, Weapons and FMS. PMA-299 requires program management and logistics support services in acquisition and sustainment for the life cycle of specified weapons systems, systems of systems (SoS), sub-systems, and support equipment (SE).

Job Summary:

Performs the necessary functions of C onfiguration M anagement (CM) for control of technical (HW and SW) configurations of laboratory or project assets of DoD weapons systems .

Education and Experience:

  • At least five (5) to 10 years' FTE program experience; a minimum of three (3) years out of the prior 10 years of program experience must include aircraft systems CM.

  • Masters of Arts or Masters of Science degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering , or Management

    Essential Duties:

  • A ppl ies Government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, DM, reconfiguration, base lining, and other relevant processes

  • Ensure s adherence to institutionalized processes and procedures

  • Provide s comprehensive CM and TD planning and execution and support

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated program experience in the CM process must include: configuration identification, control, audit, and status; DOD CM policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions and standards; ECP evaluations; and Operational and Safety Improvement Program procedures

  • Demonstrated experience with aircraft and system avionics, subsystems, ancillary equipment, and ground support equipment development, testing, production, and operational use
