VectorCSP Sr Acquisition/Operations Logistics Manager in Lexington Park, Maryland

Overview:

The Navy Multi-Mission Helicopter Program Office (PMA-299) is responsible for acquisition logistics, sustainment, and life cycle support of domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) H-60 variants including MH-60R and MH-60S. Logistics supports multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) within PMA-299 including In-Service, MH-60R, Air Vehicle, Mission Systems, Digital Interoperability, Avionics, T700 Engines and Drives, Weapons and FMS. PMA-299 requires program management and logistics support services in acquisition and sustainment for the life cycle of specified weapons systems, systems of systems (SoS), sub-systems, and support equipment (SE).

Job Summary:

This role a cts as day-to-day onsite technical and personnel lead for the TO for each APML. The Acquisition/Operations Logistics Manager/Onsite Lead, Senior p erform s various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability or maintainability programs and information systems.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 10 years' recent FTE experience in acquisition logistics support , operational logistics support, or maintenance engineering. Of those ten (10), at least three (3) years shall include Program Management experience.

  • Masters of Arts or Masters of Science degree in Business, Logistics Management, or Business/Technical/Engineering Management

    Essential Duties:

  • Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control ; LCC analysis and control; weapons systems HW and SW standardization and compatibility; IPS/Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program T&E planning and execution; and, IPS/R&M program management analysis.

  • Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics , maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.

  • Develops, modifies , prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • At least four (4) years directing acquisition or operations logisticians in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of IPS elements during a job assignment in or in support of an operational command.
