Overview:

The PSMI Department aids PMA260 by serving as the principal authority for the Naval Aviation Support Equipment (SE) Program and the Department of Defense (DoD) Automatic Test System (ATS) leadership. It provides PMA260 with acquisition and in-service logistics support services, offering Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program management and logistics support throughout the acquisition and sustainment life cycle of the designated weapon system/system of systems, including its subsystems and support equipment.

Job Summary:

This position entails providing high-level administrative support to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.. The position requires a proactive approach, the ability to work autonomously on complex projects, and strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing multiple priorities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to supporting the executive team and overall office functionality.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience performing program management processes and procedures

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree

  • Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described OR four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described can be substituted for the BA/BS degree

    Essential Duties:

  • Conducting in-depth research and preparing statistical reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Handling information requests, ensuring accurate and timely responses.

  • Performing a wide range of clerical functions, including drafting correspondence, managing incoming visitors, coordinating conference calls, and organizing meetings.

  • Potential to train and oversee lower-level clerical staff, fostering team skill development and operational coherence.

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of DoD / NAVAIR processes and procedures. (Desired)

  • Working knowledge of NAVAIR Logistics Tools

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal, written, and electronic formats
